"Safe Space" is an exploration of duality — strength and vulnerability intertwined within a composition of two abstract forms.
The dark shape seems to rise and curl in a protective gesture, as though forming a sanctuary, encapsulating the idea of a safe, nurturing environment. Its curved, enveloping posture creates a sense of protection, forming a welcoming place for the more fragile figure within.
The transparent shape, though seemingly delicate, carries its own emotional weight. Painted in rough strokes, it disrupts the viewer's expectation of a smooth, glossy surface. Instead, its imperfections and uneven texture evoke a raw vulnerability — beautiful not in its perfection, but in its flaws. The form’s rough, unfinished quality mirrors the human experience, where fragility and strength often coexist in their truest forms.
